Buying headband wigs wholesale

A headband wig has no lace and needs no glue. It sits on an adjustable band and goes on in minutes, with the front covered by a headband or scarf. That makes it a practical unit for beginners, clients protecting their natural hair, and anyone who doesn't want a lace install.

Textures, lengths and density

All eight headband wigs are 100% human hair in natural 1B:

• Straight textures: straight, yaki straight and kinky straight.
• Waves: body wave and deep wave.
• Curls and coils: kinky curly, afro kinky curly and jerry curl.

Every texture comes in 10" to 30" and in 130%, 150% or 180% density. Most listings note the hair can be lifted to a #27 honey blonde.

How to choose

If any of the client's own hair will show at the edges, match the texture to it: yaki straight and kinky straight blend with relaxed and blown-out hair, and kinky curly or afro kinky curly suit natural-hair clients. If the headband covers the hairline, choose for the look they want. As general guidance, 130% reads lightest, 150% suits everyday wear, and 180% gives a fuller look, especially at longer lengths.

Fit and client handoff

Headband wigs are held by an adjustable elastic band and combs, and some units add a Velcro strap. When you hand one off, show the client how to set the band just behind the hairline, how to swap in their own headband or scarf, and how to store the unit on a stand between wears.
