How to buy lace closures wholesale

A lace closure is a hairpiece on a lace base that sits at the part to finish a sew-in or wig unit. It covers less of the head than a frontal, so it's quicker to install and less work to maintain. This guide covers sizes, lace types, grades and how many bundles to pair with a closure.

Choose the size

The size is the lace area in inches, width by depth. A larger closure gives more room to part the hair.

• 2x6 closures: a narrow, deep strip of lace for a middle or slight side part.
• 4x4 closures: our widest range, with the most textures in virgin and raw hair.
• 5x5 closures: 1" more lace in each direction for more parting space.
• 6x6 and 7x7 closures: the most parting room short of a frontal, available in HD lace.

Choose the lace: transparent or HD

Transparent lace is our standard closure lace and comes in the most textures and lengths. HD lace is thinner and finer and blends with less tinting. We carry HD closures in every size from 2x6 to 7x7; see HD lace closures for the full range.

Choose the grade and length

Virgin and raw closures are both 100% human hair. Match the closure to the grade of the bundles you're installing: raw with raw, virgin with virgin. Transparent 4x4 closures come in 12" to 20", transparent 5x5 closures go up to 22", HD closures come in 12" or 14" up to 20", and blonde 4x4 closures come in 14" to 18".

How many bundles with a closure

With a closure, two or three human hair bundles is usually enough for a full sew-in, with three for longer lengths. Order the closure and bundles together, in the same texture and grade, so they match. If your client wants an ear-to-ear hairline or a pulled-back style, use a lace frontal instead.

Ordering and shipping

There's no minimum order, and every buyer pays the same wholesale price, so you can order one closure for a client or stock several at once. Every closure is made to order direct from the manufacturer, with 3–10 business days of processing before it ships. Shipping is a flat $29 on orders under $500 and free on orders of $500 or more.
