Deep wave is a defined wave pattern with more curl than body wave, which gives sew-ins, quick weaves and wig units a full, textured finish. Everything on this page is 100% human hair in the same deep wave pattern, so bundles, lace and wigs match.

Deep wave bundles: virgin or raw

Deep wave bundles come in two grades. Virgin deep wave runs 10" to 30" and can be lifted to a #27. Raw deep wave runs 12" to 28" and can be lifted to a #613, so it's the grade to choose when a client wants to go lighter. Blonde deep wave bundles come in 10" to 28". Each bundle is 100 grams on a machine double-stitched weft.

Closures and frontals

Deep wave closures come in 2x6, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7, in HD or transparent lace, with raw hair versions in 4x4 and 5x5. Deep wave frontals come in 13x4 transparent, 13x4 HD, 13x6 HD and a raw 13x4 transparent. A closure keeps the install simple; a frontal gives the client an ear-to-ear hairline.

Deep wave wigs

Deep wave wigs include 13x4 and 13x6 lace front wigs, 4x4 and 5x5 closure wigs in HD or transparent lace, a 2x6 HD glueless wig, and U-part, V-part and headband wigs. Densities run from 130% to 180% depending on the style, and blonde, burgundy and jet black units are available.

Length and client care

A defined wave looks shorter once it sets than its stretched length, so go up a length when a client wants the finished style to hit a certain point. As general guidance, plan three bundles for a full sew-in, or two to three with a closure or frontal. At handoff, tell clients to detangle with fingers or a wide-tooth comb and keep the hair moisturized so the pattern stays defined.

Deep wave for braids

Deep wave bulk human braiding hair comes in 16" to 24" in natural color, raw, and six shades: medium brown, burgundy, honey blonde, copper, auburn and blonde. It's part of our boho braiding hair collection. Blonde bundles, closures and wigs are grouped under blonde deep wave hair.
