Buying water wave hair wholesale

Water wave is a loose, defined curl with a rippled, wet look. It works for sew-ins, quick weaves and custom units when a client wants more movement than body wave without a tight curl. Everything on this page is 100% human hair in the same water wave pattern.

Water wave bundles

Water wave bundles come in virgin and raw grades. Virgin water wave runs 10" to 30" and can be lifted to a #27. Raw water wave runs 12" to 28" and can be lifted to a #613. Each bundle is 100 grams on a machine double-stitched weft, and the same collection carries water wave bulk braiding hair.

Closures and frontals

Water wave closures come in 4x4 transparent lace, plus raw 4x4 in transparent or HD lace. Water wave frontals come in 13x4 transparent, raw 13x4 transparent and 13x6 transparent. If you're installing raw bundles, pick the raw closure or frontal so the grade matches.

Water wave wigs

Water wave wigs come as a 13x4 transparent lace front wig and a 5x5 HD closure wig, both in 130%, 150% or 180% density. The lace front wig offers a ready-to-wear option (pre-cut lace, bleached knots and a glueless band) for $10 more, and the closure wig comes in small, medium and large caps.

Planning the install

Water wave looks shorter once the wave sets than its stretched length, so go up a length for a specific finished length. As general guidance, plan three bundles for a full sew-in, or two to three with a closure or frontal. Order bundles and lace together so the pattern matches. At handoff, tell clients to finger-detangle and keep the hair moisturized so the ripple stays defined.
