Tariff & Shipping Update – May 2025

Since 2020, Private Label Wholesale has been fulfilling orders directly from our manufacturing partners in China, allowing us to offer competitive pricing and a wide selection of high-quality hair products.

However, due to newly imposed tariffs in April 2025, shipments from overseas are now facing unexpected delays at U.S. Customs.

While tariffs are typically the responsibility of the importer—meaning our wholesale customers would normally be charged these fees—we’ve chosen to take on that burden ourselves. In most cases, we are routing shipments through our Private Label Atlanta location, paying the required tariffs, and then reshipping the goods directly to our wholesale customers at no extra cost to them.

This approach allows us to continue offering affordable products without passing these new government-imposed costs onto our community of hair entrepreneurs.

Please be aware that this extra step in the process may result in slightly longer delivery times. We’re working as quickly and efficiently as possible to keep your business running smoothly, despite these external challenges.
